Set Up:
Two teams start from the end lines of the small field, with lines on each post. Each team has soccer balls in one of their lines. The attacking team dribbles out from the end line to play 2v2 against the opposing team. If a team scores, the attackers stay on the field to defend the next ball. Two new players dribble on from their end line. If a shot is missed, both teams leave the field. The team that shot is still in possession and dribbles the next ball on.
Coaching Points:
1. Get a new ball in quick to catch the other team napping.
2. Transition quickly from attack to defense to get the early advantage.
3. Go to goal right away after winning the ball, while the other team is still in bad defending positions.
Progressions:
1. Add players, progress to 3v3.
