1v1, Chase and Turn
1v1, Chase and Turn
Organization:
Area: 20Y x 15Y. Size of field also depends on the goal of the activity/training and age group.
Set up two small goals on one end line. Two groups stand between these goals, with the coach, who is the feeder. The coach plays the ball onto the field and two players run out to start the 1v1. The player who takes control over the ball must first dribble over the 'attack line' before being allowed to score on two of the small goals. Rotate opponents after several turns.
Variation:
Use a large goal with goalkeeper to score on. Turn it into a 2v2 game.
Game:
Make two teams and keep track of the score. Also, individual players keep track of the number of goals that they score.
FOCUS POINTS:
- Quick reaction from the players when the coach passes the ball onto the field.
